TOWANNA FREEMAN GUEST PRESENTER AT JOINT SPOUSES CONFERENCE AT SCHOFIELD BARRACKS IN OAHU, HAWAII

September 17, 2009 (Oahu, Hawaii) - Life gets really hectic. Everyday there are conflicting demands on time from work, family, and a dozen other sources. This is why Towanna Freeman has been specially selected to be a guest presenter at the 2009 Joint Spouses Conference in Hawaii. The Conference is scheduled for October 16, 2009 at Schofield Barracks, Army Installation in Oahu, Hawaii.

As a wife of a Brigade Commander and mother of one, Freeman is aware of the demands the military has on families. “I’m honored to be part of the 2009 Joint Spouses Conference. Military life requires families to sacrifice a lot of things even a career for one spouse or stress on a child while being pulled out of one school to attend another,” says Freeman.

At this years JSC, Freeman will be speaking on, “Balancing Work and Family: Keeping Your Sanity”. She will provide points that will help families in areas like balancing the demands of work and personal life and how to balancing both without sacrificing either.

The JSC is a non-profit organization held annually enriching the lives of military spouses stationed in Hawaii also providing a way for them to network with over 300 other spouses.

Freeman volunteers her time in support of the soldiers and their families in Hawaii. Her commitment to making a difference is surpassed only by her passion for family as a dedicated mother to daughter and loving wife to her Husband, Colonel Byron Freeman, US Army.
